Creating Briefing Notes and Oral Briefings (1-DAY, VIRTUAL)

For organizations and individuals involved in public policy and administration, the Briefing Note (BN) is a key tool. It’s also an essential instrument for sharing other information, insight and analysis with work colleagues and others in your organization. Briefing Notes are used not only in policy and administrative work, but their creation and deployment amount to an important skill and tool in all types of organizational life. This 1-day virtual workshop will equip participants with a clear guide on to how to think about Briefing Notes, their many purposes, uses and applications; the several different forms they take; (Decision Notes; Information Notes); planning and preparing to create a Briefing Note; and how, if requested, to orally present a briefing to colleagues, management or government.
